In response to the proliferation of digitally generated work in both fine art and commercial fields, the Digital Output Center at the Cleveland Institute of Art (DOC) was founded in 2008. Created by artists for artists, the DOC strives to provide a practical resource for artists and designers to produce and learn about different means of digital production. In short, the DOC is where artists go to turn their digital images, that previously only existed virtually on screen, into physical works of art. With a variety of the latest technical innovations in print media and production methods available, the Digital Output Center at the Cleveland Institute of Art is dedicated to helping artists realize their vision.
