This two-day class will introduce you to the tools, tips and techniques used to create and turn a project that combines colorful resins with natural wood and yields an unusual and beautiful bowl. Day one we will prepare the blank, attach an appropriate mounting system and introduce the resins. Day 2 – Resin doesn’t dry and cure quickly - so we will turn & finish the project after the epoxy has cured - Dave will introduce you to the special tools and techniques used to successfully turn and finish the project

You will use the bandsaw to make a tradional bandsaw box. The techniques learned in this class can be applied to make a bandsaw box of any size. A bandsaw box requires no hardware. Bandsaw boxes make a great gift, it's organic curves seems to delight people of all ages. Join us and you will leave with a bandsaw box of your making along with the knowledge to make many more. Materials provided will allow you to make one bandsaw box. A courtesy discount of 10% on most accessories in the store will be granted to each student the day of the class.
