If image to be scanned is more than 4x the size of glass, the device cover can be removed then use the "photomerge" quick reference instructions located here to scan & assemble image in sections

Below are DOC recommended settings for a high quality scan, if scan

Deselect the "Thumbnail" radio button

To scan multiple images all at one, use multiple marquees for each and click the "multiple selection" button to select all scan areas and a separate file will be created for each marquee
