How to edit your information

To view or add your information on CIAlert:

  • Click on Services tab in the CIAlerts Account Dashboard
    • You may need to login to onelogin within the dashboard
    • Active fields will automatically populate with the information we have on file for you
    • If all the information looks correct you don't have to do anything, just log off
    • If you would like to update or add a new contact number or email, insert that information into the blank field below the number listed. Click on the 'add' button to save your changes

Validation Codes

If you've added or edited a phone number for SMS alerts, keep your phone handy. You will need to add a Validation Code to your account. The code will be sent to your phone through a text right after you add your SMS number. Enter that code into the Validation Code box on the CIAlert screen to complete your SMS activation.

How To

CIA's emergency notification system enables the Institute to send urgent news to your cell phone, email and voicemail.

This system enables us to directly send you TXT, Email and Voice notifications which contain:
1.    Emergency information
2.    School closings
3.    Weather-related schedule changes

It will not be used for general CIA announcements.


Depending on your personal cell phone plan, there may be a nominal fee from your carrier to receive text messages, but there is no charge from the Institute to use this service.

All students and employees are pre-registered for CIA Alerts with their CIA email address. Cell phone numbers are included for students based on original information on file with the Institute. Employees and students should verify that the desired information is included in their account settings.
