Equipment Checkout Mission{expander}

The Equipment Checkout provides the CIA community with technology resources for loan on both the individual and institutional level. Through our reservation and loan system, Equipment Checkout serves students and staff by making specialized technology available for use in daily assignments and instruction.

The Equipment Checkout is a reservation-based service, which means that we may not always be able to fulfill your requests if you walk up without a reservation, and late returns may affect other users who have reservations for the same equipment.

Fall Semester Hours{expander}

The Equipment Checkout regular fall semester hours are: 8am-10:30pm M-Th, 8am-7pm Friday, 10am-2pm Saturday (walk-up only on Saturdays, no online reservations)

Thanksgiving Break: Equipment Checkout will be CLOSED from Wednesday 11/23 through 11/27. Reservations made on Tuesday 11/22 can be returned on Monday 11/28. Be sure to take care of your equipment needs by TUESDAY 11/22.

End of Semester{expander}

ALL student checkouts are due by April 29th (last day of classes). ONLY BFA candidate checkouts are available during BFA week (4/30-5/9)

All fines must be paid by the end of the semester. Unpaid fines will result in a hold on your account, and will prevent you from receiving final grades and/or your diploma.

Summer Hours{expander}

The Equipment Checkout will be open during summer break beginning May 2nd, M-TH 8AM-4PM, F 8AM-2PM, except CLOSED during Memorial Day week May 30-June 3.
Current students enrolled for Fall 2022 semester are permitted to borrow equipment, and longer term loans for school related work are available on request and based on availability. Staff and faculty also have full access throughout the summer.

Continuing Education and Pre-college instructors should make arrangements through the Continuing Education office to coordinate equipment loans for classes.

Reminder: equipment can NOT be loaned to individual CE or Pre-college students, only to instructors (through CE) for use in class and on campus. Please contact Steven Mastroianni with any questions or concerns.
